1. Challenge Yourself
You may be tempted to make choices that mean you can just skim by without much effort. Challenging yourself is harder work but it often means you’ll be more inspired and enthusiastic. Boring classes lead to boring days.
High school students who challenge themselves and set goals are often more impressive than colleges. If you want to go to a good bahama college in the future, think about what they’ll want to see on your application.
2. Help People
There are lots of ways you can help others while you’re at school. Many students go through difficult times during their high school years. Whether it’s struggling with their parent’s divorce, losing a loved one, or financial difficulties, it isn’t always plain sailing.
Why not think about starting a group to help other students? Something as simple as sending a signed card from students and freakinthesheets teachers or setting up a fundraiser could make a huge difference in someone’s life. It also looks fantastic on applications.
3. A Daily Planner
High school is a lot. There is so much going on that you’d be forgiven for forgetting a few things here and there. With classes, extracurricular activities, friends, and assignments, it is easy to let something slip.
If you’re struggling to keep track of everything, it’s important to get a planner. You can write down notes and assignments while in class and refer to them when you need to. There are plenty of apps you can use on your phone if you’re allowed to use devices in class.
4. Your Grades Count
Don’t let anyone tell you that websiter your grades don’t matter. Many freshmen students make the mistake of thinking they can get their grades up before college but all grades count when it comes to your GPA. The higher your grades, the better you’re going to look.
